CVIC (Comox Valley International College) is located in the center of historic old Courtenay (which has been completely refurbished). This quaint area includes all ammenities such as Bus depot, Library, Museum, Live and Movie Theaters, Shopping District, Restaurants, Recreation Centre, etc. The surrounding area is where you will find Shopping Malls and specialized retail outlets. However, what makes the Valley special are the people. You will always be safe, welcome, and treated like a member of the community. You will have many interesting experiences and learn about the surrounding Valley communities such as Comox, Cumberland, Royston, Union Bay, and Merville, to name a few.

If you enjoy nature and sports in a Seaside Resort setting the Comox Valley ("Recreation Capital of Canada") is for you. Almost everything you can want is here for you to enjoy from an international Summer & Ski Resort, a par 72 championship golf course, one of the oldest and largest wilderness parks in Canada; I could easily make this a very long list!

Fast access to the large cities such as Vancouver, Victoria, and Seattle is provided by Air, Automobile, Ferry, Train, and Bus.
